inGeneral is published three times a year, once each semester. It is completely student run, with the guidance of our advisor, Professor Doug Cumming.
inGeneral strives to be Washington and Lee’s source for in-depth analysis of issues that affect our students, faculty, staff, and community. We seek to inform our readers on topics they truly care about, replace rumor with fact, provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, and entertain both responsibly and fairly. We aim to be professional, substantive, well-written, and above all ethical, as we explore the changing face of Washington and Lee University.

The Media Board is an independent, student-run editorial oversight committee working with all media outlets on the Washington and Lee campus. All inquiries will remain confidential.
